Especially if you need a magazine for your Raven .25 acp, I would just replace it with a better handgun.

If pocket pistols appeal to you then consider the modern Beretta Tomcat in .32 acp. It is available in blue steel (aluminum frame), stainless steel (heavier), and titanium (lightest). It is a strong little pistol, accurate and dependable. In blue it starts around three hundred dollars. If you just don't want a .32, Beretta also makes .25s and even 22s in same configuration as the Tomcat.

Your Raven should be safe to fire provided you are pointing it away from you. Also, like someone else stated, don't drop it. LOL!

Good luck.

I'm not sure that Ravens were safe to fire when they were new in the box.

Seriously, turn that thing it at the next gun buy back, so you can get more money than it's worth. Then go out and buy a good, quality firearm.

If you want to keep it cheap, and stay with a mousegun caliber, the Kel-Tec P32 and P3AT might be good for you. They'll win no beauty contests, but they're reliable and inexpensive.

Raven's are cheap, but reliable, and it is entirely up to you if you want to buy a new magazine for it. Most experts don't recommend a .25 for anything except to kill pests and small rodents.
I liked Col. Jeff Cooper's comments on the .25. When asked by a couple of female "spooks" he was training if a .25 Auto would be a good backup gun he said: "Any thing that makes you feel better is alright. But, don't load it, because if you shoot somebody with it and he finds out about it , he will be mad as hell."

If it is missing the magazine, it really is not worth buying a replacement. I would not be surprised if the magazine cost more than the pistol did new.

Those Raven's were cheap, ugly, chunky, klunky and underpowered, but they did have one virtue. Those little beasts generally went bang when the trigger was pulled. Of course they'd go bang if you dropped them too, but they were generally more reliable than similarly priced pocket pistols.
