Neither. I say "Buddha bless you." I'm not a Buddhist, but I still like the sound of it.

Saying god bless you doesn't necessarily mean you believe in god. It's just a saying.

I don't think so. Before I was a believer I never said "God bless you" to anyone;"bless you" or "ghesunheit" usually.

I say "Bless you" when someone sneezes, but to be honest, we don't even need to say it.
Little fact: The phrase "God bless you" originated when the bubonic plague was tearing through Europe. The Pope came forth and said that anybody who sneezed might be infected with the plague so people should say "God bless you" and it's stuck ever since.

I say 'Bless you' and realize that I'm saying it. Or 'Gesundheit' (ist besser als Krankheit).
I like it for its multilayered irony. I don't believe in God, but by saying 'God bless you', I'm implying both belief in a God and belief that His intercession is required whenever someone sneezes. Now that's funny stuff.

no but if i were to be in a car accident i'd yell jesus because well, i was born and raised in america. And also
No i dont care if someone sneezes and i dont think it's rude if no one says anything i mean do you really know why people say that?
because long ago sneezing was like very dangerous and people really thought that by saying that that god would take away whatever flu or plague they had.
"god bless you so you dont have a biological sickness that we dont understand!"

Most people say "Bless you" which is an imperative with God as the implied subject. I think only people of German descent say gesundheit (good health) for the most part.
I think to most people, believer or not, it is simply standard ettiquette like responding "you're welcome" to "thank you".

A 'Point'? ... No... I might jokingly say Gheshunteit... But it's by definition unrelated to any of the 'Gods'.
Do believers say 'Oh God, Oh, God' during orgasm? ... (Don't answer, I've known more that do than don't.)
