Most of the time in highschool you are going to need a computer, Im sure some of your teachers could vouch that they are very benificial for two kids going into highschool.
Explain to your parents all the good things and how helpfull they will be for your studies.
Let your parents in on all that they can do, things that you think THEY would be interested in. I am sure if they hear they can cut their long distance down MAJORLY by emailing relatives from afar instead of phoning, or all the info that could be at their fingertips, (as Im sure you would lend them to them if they wanted...lol).
In this day and age, I am surprized you guys don't have one all ready.

Get all A's in exchange, oh yeah and don't do drugs. Also, sit down and tell them why the macbook is superior, and you can get a $100 education discount. I just got my new mac book, and its amazing.

Ask parents what you can do to earn money so you and brother can buy macbooks? Clean the garage, wash the windows etc...

You don't need laptops for high school. That's a little spendy, but they arent my parents.....
Just be nice to them, and ask them if you both can get one for the both of you.
