Does anybody know what number goes on the front of a Vw. The longer plate that goes on the front of most models. My sister has an 00' Jetta (new body) and she wants to get those plates, but shes not sure how to go about it and if its supposed to be a certain number or what.
any input would be great.

i think that maybe you are talking about the European plates? they don't really mean anything in the US, and are just considered vanity plates.

Those are European-style plates. You have to live in a state that does not require front license plates, and you can have them customized… do a web search and you'll find several sites.
