It seems to me the Christian world has their priorities wrong conserning the Jews. I remember Jesus telling his followers to preach the Gospel to the Jews first and then to the Gentiles. So this message of salvation through Jesus Christ is supposed to be preached to the Jews first. How come we don't preach to the Jews? Why do we think God has some special plan outside the sacrifice shed blood of Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ Himself said his sacrifice is for the Jews.

Ok I will be fair to warn all those(non believers) who want to make wise cracks..you will be dinged.

The gospel WAS preached to the Jew first. The entire New Testament was written by Jews, except for one I think.
The early church were all Jews.
Paul, Peter, John, all of them are Jews.
After the apostles died, grievous wolves entered...see Acts 20.28
In fact, it is the Jews who preach to us, since we read their letters as Holy Writ in our churches.
They preach to us through the Bible.

When you read carefully, Jesus didn't ever say the crucifixion was his intended means of redeeming mankind. The Apostles were at a loss as to how to act after the crucifixion, which had never been on the tables. They'd never been prepared for it and Jesus wasn't prepared for it either, but he'd done his work as a good rabbi, and spread lots of good ideas, some taken from sects, others from Greek philosophy, others from things he'd learnt in Alexandria and maybe in the Dead Sea communities. After Jesus it wasn't so much "how can we understand what Jesus taught" as "how can we make the disappearance of this prophet useful and tie it all up into a logical, new religion". Arguments about what Jesus's appearance and disappearance were supposed to mean went on for hundreds of years. In a few years' time we'll have the publication of the newly found Judas' Gospel. That will put a few cats among the pigeons. Let's hope we get the unadulterated version and not Benedict 16's version.

Jesus told the Disciples to go first to the Jews then to the Gentiles. He also said to go through out the world proclaiming the good news.

So, early on there was preference to the Jews but now it is whomever you meet. It was only right and fitting that Jews get first dibs as it were because it is through Abraham that Christ came and as you know God told Abraham he would be a blessing to all nations.

Also Jews have it harder than gentiles. They have to realize that Jesus is their Messiah and it is harder to do. Gentiles seem to see it more readily.

I would love for you to quote where Jesus said his sacrifice was for Jews only.

Why can't we have an open dialog about the Gospel of Christ without it trying to turn it into a conversion attempt? Why can't we plant the seed of belief and turn it over to God? How am I supposed to help a Jew (or any Jew) return to Israel? What's your plan for helping them get back?

We do both.

The Jews heard the message first, directly from Jesus.

I've been sharing about the Lord Jesus with Jewish people, as have most of the folks in my church for more than 30 years now.

I don't think God has a separate plan.

I know God does not have a separate plan.

Don't preach!! The Jews have a fine religion, the last thing they need is a bunch of Christians coming along and preaching as usual!

We, as Christians, are to do both.
We do.

There are Christian ministries throughout the USA, England, & Australia that work to bring Jews back to Israel. There are ministries on the ground throughout Israel and the world seeking to reach the Jews.

If you want to know what Christians are doing around the world you need to watch the daily Christian news broadcasts that keep Christians updated on the needs, successes, plans of Christians around the world.

If you believe the Bible you should believe all the Bible.
We need to support every purpose of God and expedite the will of God. If you pray "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done" and in reading the Scriptures come to an understanding that it is God's will and settled resolve to restore the Jewish people to their land and send the Messiah from heaven to establish His Millennial Kingdom, how can you pray it in faith if you remain neutral when given an opportunity to do something about it?

We preach the Gospel with our behavior, we treat them as our friends, we pray for them. And we let God decide how he wants to deal with them.
