If the dog is up on the shots I would pay in my area 50 to 70 dollars.

Hi if you are on a limited income, contact the local animal shelter. Often shelters offer low cost spaying and neutering programs. Otherwise start calling clinics and ask their prices. If you see a person with a well cared for dog, ASK where they go for care. If you start hearing one or two names then that's a great reference. Kudos for being responsible pet owner!!

It just usually depends on where you go, if you do a search on your area for low cost spay & neuter clinics, you should be able to find something reasonable. When I had my pomeranian neutered at a VCA clinic, it was about $150, including labwork & pain medication.

Our clinic charges $70 for a pup that small. We also offer optional pre-anesthetic blood work (checks levels in the kidneys and liver) for an additional $48. The blood work is only strongly recommended for older (senior) dogs.
Call around your area and find out what local vets are charging. That is your best bet!

A small dog shouldn't cost THAT much...neutering is cheaper than spaying. You should probably call around to your local vets & ask them. They should be able to tell you what the cost would be.
