Free Vacations For Cancer Patients

The first place to check is with your doctor / oncologist...then the national cancer center is a good second start. I understand how you feel. There should be a place that is willing to help. I think fatandsmooth has a poor attitude and may have somehting wrong with them other than cancer and want everyone to else to be as miserable as they are. There is many people like that out there. I will be praying for them......but Please dont let their answer discourage you. Put your armor on and Battle with a smile. I will be praying for life to be peaceful for you. ....as peaceful as the mountains. I live in the mountains of East TN and I also have cancer stage 3E among other illnesses. God Bless you and I hope you get a trip to the mountains :o)

Why ask the question when you already seem to have all the answers? I have brain cancer. It will eventually be what kills me. HOWEVER, until that time, I still have bills to pay and obligations to fulfill. I am married with 2 grown children, 4 granddaughters and a mortgage. What happens if I just decide to throw caution to the wind and flee? My husband and family don't see me, I don't see them and nothing gets accomplished. As for traveling, you are assuming that those with cancer can travel. Because you don't have nor probably never had cancer, you are naive about what we truly are able to accomplish. Physical challenges aside, let's not forget about money. It takes money to travel even when relying on the kindness of strangers to help you. Let's not forget about travel restrictions, passports, shots (who needs malaria or H1N1 when you have cancer?), money for food, clean clothes, the list is endless. The long and the short of it could simply be because people who are dying wish to spend time with their loves ones or try to even beat the cancer. As for traveling, we went to Alaska this year on a cruise. No offense to others who feel the need to go abroad, but, when was the last time you saw Glacier Bay, The Badlands, The Dells, The Adirondacks, The Smokie Mountains or even The Rocky Mountains. There is much beauty here just waiting to be discovered.

Forget anything you have ever been told about Diabetes. And get this - it has nothing to do with insulin, exercise, diet or anything else you've heard in the past. It's all based on latest breakthrough research that Big Pharma is going Stir Crazy to hide from you. Visit here : https://tinyurl.im/aH1W8 to find out what all the fuss is about.

Hi May: Try this link. It is similar to the Make A Wish Foundation for terminally ill children, but it is for adults. I pray your loved one gets to make that trip to the mountains! All the best.

Get real!
You must be kidding..............why should cancer patients get preferential treatment?
Many more people die from other diseases. As a matter of fact those inflicted by cancer are far few. People some day must die. It is not our fault if the people with cancer were born with abnormal genes or if they chose to poison their body with toxins..........such as smokers with Lung cancer or Alcoholics with liver cancer. we should be compassionate and sympathetics towards all those who are not in good health and have limited life expectancy.

Even Hospice services are not free...............some one pays the Hospice Bill.
