This is very nice, but you won't find any ticket prices for next summer on any websites nor to the airlines' website.
Check the new prices and schedule in January 2008.

Peoria is not far from Chicago, you can look at Southwest, JetBlue, United and American. They all fly to LAX (JetBlue to Long Beach) non-stop. - USAir with a stop in Vegas or Phoenix.

Just type Airline tickets into your search engine and you will be overwhelmed with sites. Check them all for what you want and look for the best price.

Then... When you have found your price, don't book it through the discount agency. Look up the web site of the airline that you want to fly on and book it directly with the airline. You will get a better price and have a lot more flexibility.
When you book through Travelocity or one of the other "cheap" ticket agency's. The minute you buy your ticket it is cast in stone. They have huge fees for changing your ticket if something goes wrong or you have an emergency of some sort. And....They are not nice about it.
I had a motor bike accident in Thailand last year and had to come home early. They charged me $250 for changing the ticket on a ticket that was only $836 in the first place. that's a big percentage. So... Book with the airline, on line, and you will have the opportunity to change your scheduling with minimal hassle. Also when you book directly with the airline you generally have your choice of seating and can order special meals etc without extra charges. For some reason I like the Veggie meals even though i am not a vegetarian.
good luck

try www.expedia.com
I can only recommend you this since I'm using them and did some comparison to others like www.travelocity.com.
Expadia is good. or do your job...you have time so once you get to expedia...you will see a lot of websites for air ticketing. Best luck!
