PowerPoint viewer is used to view powerpoint presentations. This can be helpful for viewing presentations/charts/projects that people have made.

You can download and use it free of charge. There isn't a demo or anything, it's freeware since it's only used to view powerpoint projects, not create them.

To download the latest version of the viewer go here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=048DC840-14E1-467D-8DCA-19D2A8FD7485&displaylang=en

Good luck!

A powerpoint viewer is basically a software for a person who doesn't have Microsoft Powerpoint on their computer. Suppose you sent your friend a powerpoint slideshow and your friend doesn't have that powerpoint software on his computer. Then he would need to download the viewer to see your powerpoint file.

Download the viewer at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=048DC840-14E1-467D-8DCA-19D2A8FD7485&displaylang=en

On that website change your internet speed on estimated download time to dial up, DSL or cable. Then click Download and click on Save. Then change save in drop down to your desktop. Click on Save.

You will now double click the file you just downloaded on your desktop and afterwards you will have a powerpoint viewer. You can delete that file on your desktop once it is fully installed. Now when someone sends you a powerpoint file, you will be able to read the file without having the required powerpoint software by Microsoft.
