Is Sacramento City College or American River College the better community college to go to?

I live in Davis and i don't know about those 2 but i do know UC Davis is a REALLY good college especially for medical degrees but i think it is really hard to get into .

They each have their strong points. Sac City is better if you want athletics, or if you are going to move up to a California University later. American River College is better if you are interested in performing arts, and Sierra College is a better all around school it that is all the schooling you are planning on.

It depends in what your going to study and how close you live to the colleges. I personally, haven't been to classes at ARC (American River College), I have attended classes in the SCC (Sacramento City), and CRC (Consumes River college).. If your studying aeronautics then SCC is the college for you. If you are studying automotive, then ARC or CRC are the two colleges that offer classes. CRC also has classes in Medical Assisting. CRC Is also in the same college district as SCC and ARC.

It really depends what your major is. Each of the four colleges in the Los Rios College Districts offers things none of the others do.
Sac City is far older, and things might be a bit closer together.
AR is much newer (by about 30 years) and is more spread out.

Sierra College is the best junior college in California, so why don't you go up a bit and visit Rocklin?

Sierra College in Rocklin is better than either. Just up 80 a bit.

I like ARC better. The students aren't as mindless, the professors are generally more patient, and the campus is a lot nicer.
