I believe that God enjoys having a personal relationship with human beings. In the first chapter of Genesis, it speaks of God walking with and conversing with Adam and Eve. I know He seems to enjoy my relationship with Him...and I certainly enjoy His relationship with me.

My concept of god doesn't really "need humans" but each and every living thing/ everything in existence are more like a tiny piece of the whole. The god of religions definitely needs people to make him exists. yet is not served by human "hands"-but by human "minds"
He need their minds to exists & exists only because of human thought.

Of course He doesn't.. However it is important to note just why He created us in the first place.. God does need to Love. It's part of His nature. He created us as a people He could use to fulfill that element of His being... Jim
