It seems to me that only people on Yahoo! Answers are so obsessed with the choices of others. Some of my neighbors go to church or temple--some don't go anywhere--none go chasing after people of other religions to convert them.
By the way, not everyone who does not attend a house of worship is an atheist--many prefer to keep their communications with God private.

*Andy - I serve God by way of my own denominations--which do not include hatred, knocking on doors, or trying to convert everyone I meet. I have recently contributed to getting two older children (9 and 11) baptized--that's what it's all about.

Youre right. A true Christian will do as the bible instructs and pray in private and not "on the street corners like the heathens". Personally, I don't care who worships where or even if they do. God gave everyone free will and true Christians abide by that. God tells us to go into our "closets" to pray and we do that. There are some people who CALL themselves Christians who boast and brag and judge and spout off, but God also says to "beware of those who come in My name". I'm a Christain and I dont care...and I don't know why some people do...bored, maybe..bored people like to get into other peoples business when they shouldn't. Maybe its cuz their own lives are pathetic.

First i would say that there is nothing wrong with caring. I think some of your negative impressions could be from people who have expressed that care in a wrong way.
i care about the people that i happen to come across in life.
Additionally i think that people shouldn't be surprised that on Yahoo Answers- an open forums under the umbrella Religion and Spirituality that people are communicating their beliefs on Religion and Spirituality.
i think it's clear from your question that you may not care. And some people share your sentiments while others don't.

I never go to the house of worship my temple is my body and i believe in God very much in fact he helps me out all the time . Just lucky i guess

Well the bible only talks about his church(Jesus) not this one or that one, were suppose to fellowship with one another not have denominations or divisions.
