This is a very broad question. Commercial airlines are the safest way to travel in the world. Ticketing and reservations can be handled by yourself, a travel agent or a discount ticketing agency. Security is rigorous in all airports these days and this has to be a consideration when you are considering departure times and the amount of time needed to clear security to make your plane on time.
