The creator of Jesus borrowed from Horus, and Krishna; that's my explaination.

Here is a site for Krishna and Jesus similarities: http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_jckr1.htm

And one for Horus and Jesus similarities:

Yes, and the story of Horus is 2500 years older than that of Jesus. I posted this same question before, it's amazing how it's not really discussed. It leads us to wonder if a person called Jesus really existed. Nice list though.

The devil is a copycat. All of your related stories go back to Noah's grandson Nimrod and his evil wife Semiramus and their son Tammuz. The old wicked queen of heaven Semiramus came down through history with many names and one most famous is Aphrodite, Ashterorth and Venus. She spawned many gods and goddesses of your myths and her husband's name Nimrod means "Let us revolt or let us rebel" and the rebellion was against God because he built babel and later known as Babylon. God stopped his wickedness by destroying babel and scattering the people with different languages. There were many Horus gods as rulers of Egypt. Horus stems from ancient Egyptian word "her" and is the symbol of a falcon or hawk that soars above all. Long before Moses, Noah walked with God. Noah's great grandson Nimrod heard many stories growing up about days before the flood and the angels that left their first abode or fallen angels that took the daughters of men as wives. Genesis describes this. Jesus said, that Abraham would have loved to have seen His day and that before Abraham was Jesus said I was meaning that Jesus lived before Abraham. Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world so Jesus was at creation.

Where's the proof? Lots of parallels everywhere in history. Still proves nothing. The Greeks say Atlas holds the world on his shoulders. Christianity says Jesus bore the sins of the world. Who's copying who? Where's the proof that one is wrong? The Greeks have Zeus as the almighty god. The Jews and Chistians have Jehovah. Where's the proof that one or both is wrong?

Amazing how many of your so-called facts are in dispute, and in fact just plain lies (i.e "walking on water"). But the real reason the two are completely unrelated, is that Jesus was a blood sacrifice for the salvation of the world; no such claim can be made about Horus.

My guess is cultural contamination, one way or the other. Either Christians borrowed from Egyptian texts or Egyptians texts were altered to fit new Christian ideals.

I have seen some of this in Native American religions, some which have great similarities to Christianity. My suspicion with them is that as their culture blended with the Europeans they changed some of their stories to reflect changing beliefs.

There are really five things it could be:

1. Christians based Jesus on Horus (or at least borrowed attributes from Horus)

2. The story of Horus was altered to fit newer Christian ideals (this would be easiest to prove or disprove, how old are the actual original written stories of Horus?)

3. Both stories are built on popular ideas or concepts of the time, or both borrow from a "common ancestor" story of sorts.

4. God provided the basis of both stories.

5. It is a complete coincidence.

Of course, that would make Horus a myth as well. The fact is, the 'Jesus myth' and the 'Horus myth' are replicated in many cultures, under many names. Which would lead one to think that there must be some truth to the story, and that somewhere, it must have actually happened, in order for it to be found in so many disparate groups.

I looked up Horus at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horus

I don't know where you get your information but the Horus described there has very little in common with Christ. I don't even think Horus is human...he has a falcon head dude

I have never read about Horus. I will try to find information so I can at least see an answer to what you ask. Odd that in all my education I have never heard that story.

where did you get this info? all i know is about horus is that his mother was isis. that conflicts with the info you gave.

from what i've read so far, your information is not accurate.

by the way, Jesus can't be a myth, as you say. He is recognized by many as a historical figure. even by people who don't believe that He's God.

NO!

How do you explain that the Egyptian God Horus' Story parallels that of the God Tammuzi with his Mother, the Queen of Heaven whose story is far older. This story originates with Noah's great-grandson Nimrod and his Wife and son.

And all it proves it that Satan KNEW the Prophecy about "the son of man" from as far back as Genesis Ch. 3 where it says, "the snake shall bite you in the heel and you shall crush him in the head." Meaning that Christ would be born PERFECT and since no "man" was perfect, he would HAVE to be born immaculately (or of a virgin for proof of his perfection) AND that Satan would "bite him in the heel" or kill him for 3 days. While this sounds bad, remember he had a promise to a resurrection in 3 days prophecied! And he knew God WOULD keep his would and carry it out if he could just make it through to his sacrifice! So, Satan was smart enough to figure alot out and place false leads for alot of the time, he also knew if he killed off David's LINE he would destroy the Messiah (coming one) and ALMOST succeeded more than once!!!

Oh, and almost every mid-east religion baptises. Water in that area used to represent Death and/or Myster(ies) and my immersing yourself you were EITHER allowing death to cover you and be reborn in this new religion or allowing the mysteries to cover you over and immerse yourself in new ones.
