My bf and i broke up about a week ago and he said he still loves me but his life is too stressful for a gf at the moment. we have gotten really close and have been telling eachother everything. my friends have been telling me different things and trying to get me to take a side. the side i am kinda believing says to let him go b/c he dosen't really like me and that he is just going to hurt me. i told my bf about this today and asked him if he thought i should believe them and he said. no. of course not. i said: really. he said: yeah you know i love you. then we talked for a little while and he asked me a question i didn't want to answer so i told him that and he goes fine(crying smiley) then i tell him that i really do like you but i am not comfortable with answering that question. the he goes: ok fine. g2g. bye. ttul. is he mad at me? do you think he still likes me? should i talk to him about going back out and make a decision together or what. i don't undertand him at all. i tell....

he didn't ask me to do anything. he asked me a question about me that was a typical teenage guy type of question. i just wasn't comfortable answering it.

I've got the feeling he's trying to tell you he doesn't care about you or you wouldn't have broke up in the first place. Life's to stress full because he has someone else.Yes he loves you to keep you around in case he needs something from you to string you along. Wake up dump him, I'm sure you can find someone to treat you better.Listen to your friends they must know or they wouldn't be telling you things about him.Don't go telling him what they say you are defeating your purpose.Listen to them don't call him anymore play the field till you find someone who really shows he cares, your still young you'll know when the right one comes along and you won't have to tell him everything your friends say because they will like him to. Why would you break-up if you love each other? When things get too stressful, my partner is the first person I turn to. If there are questions you are too uncomfortable to answer with your bf then maybe he is not the person you are sposed to be with. Sometimes friends can see things that we miss because we are too close to the problem...so maybe some time-out from this guy would be a good thing
