I don't know of anything besides boiled rice and chicken, although i'm sure that if i looked long enough on the internet, i could find some recipes.
I just wanted to warn you about homemade or human food treats- such as peanut butter, ham, and foods that are high in fat.
Ham in large quantities can be dangerous to the canine liver, In chocolate the caffeine can be harmful to their cardiac systems.
Pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) can be caused when a dog (or cat, in some cases) consumes a high fat, human food such as peanut butter, cooking grease, bacon, etc. The likelihood of pancreatitis depends on the sensitivity of the dog. Just be careful! The only way to treat it is hospitilization and IV fluids until the pancreatic enzymes are decreased in the system.

By the way, two of my dogs are a mutt and a purebred, both of whom regularly consume human food, I just try to monitor how much and how often they're allowed to "clean up after dinner". They do like lettuce, carrots, olives, and pickles, among other things. But I've also known dogs to eat purely dry dog food and live long, healthy lives with no problems.

I feed my dogs raw. This way no nutrients are cooked out. It also keeps them occupied for about an hour and a half.

If you want to cook it I recommend getting books on it. Tons at Barnes & Noble.

If it overwhelms you remember high quality kibble is expensive but worth it. By high quality I mean the ones that don't have adds because they spend their money on making the food.

I found this whole foods company for dogs in a Health Food Pet Store. It's already mixed for you. You just add water and meat raw or cooked whatever you want. Their website is http://www.happydogfood.com Hope that helps. All the best;^)

Unless you do all your research, I recommend you stick with dry dog food. If you really want to make your dog's food, look up a ton of information on RAW/BARF dog diets. I think you'll find that raw food is better than cooked. I saw people recommended boiled chicken. I think raw chicken is better than boiled. But anyway, good luck with whatever you choose.

I boil up a whole chicken with sliced carrots. I remove all bones and gristle. I boil brown rice in the chicken stock. They love it. I also cook up beef livers and chop them up to mix in their dry food. Hard boiled eggs are good too. Canned tuna in water added to their dry food is a treat.

You mean as a treat? Boil up some chicken and cut it into small bits.
