yes #79 and #53 but take ferry it free and enjoy the sites

plenty. Look at www.mta.info
A bunch leave from Bay Ridge by the last stop on the R line at 95 st, among other places. Ferry is still nicest, but slower and not really convienient if you are not already in Manhattan...
