If you don’t need Him then honestly, I can’t think of a single reason that would persuade you. Just remember that if you ever do need Him in your life, He will be there for you.

Well, I guess just having some sort of faith and belief means having something to cling on to --- I don't know whether that's good or bad. I have faith in God but I'm not a very religious person. It's almost like if u don't have control over something that's bothering you and therefore you can't take any action, it just gives u peace of mind when you believe in God --- just praying (or in my case talking) to God makes u feel a little bit better --- it doesn't take away the problem but gives you something until you can take action.
Not sure if you were looking for something like this but that's my two cents' worth...

Because He believes in you.
Because He made you and gave you a purpose in life.
Because He created you with a need....and nothing will fill
it but Him.
Because there is a warfare between God and the devil and
God is stronger.
Because God does not force you. He wants you to believe
and love Him out of choice.
Because no one could create a sunset, a flower, a baby, a
universe, but a supernatural being who has all power and
is all knowing......and who cares enough to hold it all toget-
her perfectly until we make our choice.
Because He has an eternity planned for you and went to build
you a mansion and will come very soon. Thats why!

1) because something/someone created all this. The ecosystems are so complex and in such delicate balance with eachother that they couldn't have just happened on their own. And if something/ someone did create all this aren't you alittle curious as to who that being might be?
2) because what if He is real would you really want to find out after you die when it's too late?
3) because if He is real and is love, as the bible says He is, then He will bless you and help you throughout your whole life. Again, nothing to loose there either.
I don't think anyone can "convince" you. It's just something each person has to seek out on their own. You have to search it out until you are satisfied with your conclusion.

That's up to you to figure out. Some people believe in God because they've logically thought out the question, some believe so that they can have peace in their life, some find faith to help ease them through a time of pain.
Ultimately, you have to find the reason to believe or not believe in God. Obviously the idea isn't logically impossible, as literally billions of people believe in some form of a deity, and there isn't a single aboriginal culture (to my knowledge) that doesn't have a belief in some kind of deity.
Now, the attributes you tack onto your idea of God may be illogical, but that doesn't mean the idea of God isn't real.
So which god don't you believe in?

You cannot find the answer to that on YA, you need to look inside your heart and work that out. Trust your own spirit and soul and you will find what you are looking for. If you have to ask then you are doubting what you already believe. Keep asking yourself this question and the answer will come to you.

Because, overall, your life will be better. It is the greatest feeling on earth to have God in your heart. With God you always have someone on your side, someone who is always ready to listen to you, someone that loves you no matter what, and someone to live for. Once you believe in him, you will experience his miracles and your prayers being answered. And in tough times you have someone to talk to, a book that you can look in for answers to everyday life, and someone to comfort you. Also how else could the universe, the galaxy, the earth, and the people be created? Yea you can believe in evolution, but what about everything else?

I am a skeptic also. It has been very hard for me to believe in God but recently I've been feeling so hopeless and desperate that I need something to hold onto.
I still have not yet come to a conclusion but I've talked with a few people and this is what I can give you from my obtained knowledge and personal experience/thought:
In this world, everything mortal will eventually disappoint you, break your heart, etc. The God of the Bible is presented as perfect...perfectly loving, perfectly forgiving, perfectly just.
He will never disappoint you, unless you make an excuse to think that He has. It may seem as though He does not have your best interests at heart but He can see the whole picture.
For me, the concept of the intricacy of nature, although it seems as though it should be convincing, isn't. It's too far-off, impersonal, as though a person should have to go on a treasure hunt to find God. I've often wondered why God, if He exists, wouldn't show Himself more clearly so that we could be more certain of His presence. But maybe we should take the task of seeking God diligently. After all, God does say in the Bible that those who seek with their whole heart will find Him. He wants us to want Him. That's part of free will. My youth pastor explained to me that it is impossible to know how and why God does things the way He does but in order for us to have free will, He doesn't just pop out in front of you saying, "I'm here!" That would be too obvious and you'd be obligated to believe in Him; although, some would still turn away from Him.
We were given consciences and sufficient wisdom to think things out for ourselves. At some point in our lives, as some say, we know or feel deep down in our hearts that there truly is a God.
This is what faith is. Reaching out to the unknown, believing for yourself that there is someone in control above you, over everything. Faith, in trying to make it a logical concept for myself, is not like any other emotion, attribute, or value. Emotions will decieve you. It makes sense that one should look to something as a goal in life...God is the ultimate goal or purpose...everyone has something that they're living for or looking foward to. Humans were born to have purpose. We can't function without it.
Faith is letting go of yourself completely: all of your imperfectability, will, ambitions, pride, etc. You realize that, even though you think you may have it together, life is chaos.
Everyone needs help. You realize life is not all about you and there is a deeper meaning to things. I bet you've noticed how things can sometimes never go our way and we can't seem to get things right. When you lose yourself, you no longer have to worry about that or about what others think or how they react. You can be assured, not of your happiness, but of the joy that will always be in your heart which has set you free from the bondage of mortal human life.
If you would like to talk to me more go right ahead. I'm sure I had more to say but I just went braindead. Hope you can benefit from this.
As you noticed, I wrote some of what I had to say from a Christian perspective. Weird, since I'm not one. I was raised in a Christian household and went to private Christian school so I know a lot about it. I know the basics of other religions and some of the are pretty corny. Christianity really makes sense. It has a solid, overall base to it and explains to us why we are here on Earth and gives purpose to our lives.
The Bible, as someone explained to me, is obvious that no man could have written it. Other religious books are obvious things that any normal person could have come up with. Even though it was written thousands of years ago it is still very relevant to our times. Very many passages have many meanings to them, not just what is at face value.

Nobody here can tell you why you should or shouldn't. Only you can decide that through introspection and observing the world around you.
I'm an atheist, if you care.

If you were dying, lost family, or any such tragedy it would help you deal with those events. It gives you a sense of hope, and also has been shown to help out drug users. There are a few other reasons associated with it as well.
