No ... and in fact, I believe it's illegal to do so unless personal safety is involved.

No so much
it was just an idea of person on the job for wearing eye glass as

a) a person might have eye defect - it will endanger the job
b) a person can see only what they in focus
c) a person can not move fast
d) a person can not recognized well his job

The most important in the job is
a) the person has the well knowledge
b) the person is interested in the job
c) the person is willing to improve

They said that a person that weir sun glass is a wide reader of books that is why they burned their eye and wear eye glass

The only jobs that can discriminate based on vision are in areas where poor vision would interfere with job performance even if corrected.

I don't think you'll find those kinds of jobs in an electrical engineering company.

Actually, wearing glasses is a requirement in some work environments (safety glasses).
