No only the people who believe that science contradicts what the bible says. So, science doesn't destroy religion, peoples belief in the literal word of the bible destroys religion. science really has nothing to do with religion.

religion? maybe, but science has MANY roots IN the scriptures and the more we find out about many different fields of scientific study the more we find that the Bible had it right all along =) So, no, science in NO way destroys the Bible.
