Go in to another room and you can try to listen to some relaxing music or write for a bit as a way to relieve the stress. Even doing a bit of exercise such as walking can be of help. I don't know when your next check up is but I would also recommend talking to your dr about this at that time to see what other suggestions they may have that could be of help.

Try running to get out your frustration or writing. You need to find something that you enjoy and lets your emotions out. Whether it is physical or mental, it will be a trial and error process until you find what works for you. When I was younger, I would go outside and sit in the yard. It was quiet and peaceful. As I got older, I learned that writing was better for me. I keep a journal and write out all my highs and lows of the day.

My dear, your mom is telling something means it has some importance. Be sincere at her. Mom and teacher never try to cheat or trouble their kids/ students. You should introspect where you go wrong and try to improve thanking them.
If you find them wrong (5% possibility), thank them for advise and forget. But remember this can be true if they are patients and refer a psychologist!
