You are describing a standard poodle. They don't shed, have bags of energy, love children and are good at anything you want them to be. I have 3 at the moment and wouldn't change to another breed for the world.

Poodles!! They're big, don't make most allergens sneeze, are kid-friendly, and like lots of exercise. The ONLY downside to them is that they need a lot of grooming; however this isn't a problem if you cut the coat short. Also find a breed rescue group or shelter for a poodle, as too many people breed poodles and most of them are vicious dogs with bad temperaments and health concerns.

We have a Bernese Mountain dog and he's fantastic with my son and will even let him ride him. Not a mean bone in his body and slightly stupid but in a good way. Does shed a bit but if you keep them cleaned and groomed, it's not too bad. Known for being very kind, family orientated dogs.

Portugese water dog, Bouvier de Flanders, Grey hounds......most dogs shed. There is a dog called Basenji that supposedly does not shed too much.

Goldendoodles. They are a poodle and golden retriever cross. My friend has one and they are very cute. They don't shed either. They are a very friendly dog and they are very energetic.
