He said at her memorial that he is sure she had a great reception in Heaven

Good question Midge, you know that Evangelicals do not believe that the Blessed Mother is in Heaven and that Her sinless body decomposed in the grave, what an affront to Jesus Himself to even suggest this, still they do not see Catholics as Christians either nor accept us as Christian brethren, so I guess this heresy regarding the Blessed Mother is merely to spite the Catholic church.

Midge, I've heard Billy Graham preach before, and I don't recall hearing him say that Mary isn't in Heaven. If he did, perhaps he was referring to the fact that many Protestants don't believe in the Assumption -- not that Mary's soul wasn't present with the Lord.

Is there a transcript of a sermon available somewhere in which he said that the Blessed Virgin isn't in Heaven? I'd like to read it, if you have a link or reference.

I admire Dr. Graham's faithfulness in preaching the Word of the Lord for so many years, and I must admit, I'm going to be very disappointed if I I read something that says he doesn't believe Mary is in Heaven. As a famous theologian, he ought to know better.

Midge as a protestant,myself....I don't know why Billy Graham would think that.....it doesn't make sense....We of course disagree on some of the beliefs concerning Mary,the mother of Jesus.....but she surely is with Him in heaven...Both are with Jesus,in heaven,there is no question.

I believe Mary, mother of Jesus, is in heaven but that doesn't mean we should worship her.

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus->Christ.

God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace.

There is NO respect of persons with God. NONE at all !
There's only partiality(respect of persons) against God.
Either all get in heaven, or none at all. So far it's none.
We all are one. So far it's one proselyte, thanks to Billy.

Billy (goat) Graham speaks of God on high, in heavens;
of being right, of such left/right, only to make others wrong;
which is kinda like an eye for an eye makes the world blind.
It's as disastrous to win a sides war as to lose a sides war;
For both sides of such blame game end in a hall of shame.

The only true God is in heaven: higher than the heavens.
The higher exhortation is: be not high-minded (Rom &1Tim)

In plural "heavens" on high, there's left (behind) and right.
In singular heaven above such, it's all right (no left behind).

Ppl recovering from highs speak of a HIGHER pwr after:

The GRACE(ONLY) of our Lord J->C with you->all. Amen.

I don't think he said Mary wasn't in heaven.

Perhaps you are confusing that with the thought that although she is in heaven she has no power there, as she is not part of the Trinity.

What about the supposed Judgement day?

Study the Bible, Graham.

Who cares what he thinks. There is no heaven, no one has ever been there, it's as if someone was going to Pottsylvania.

Think about reality. Not some bronze age fairy-tale.
