I'm only sorry that US don't want to sign the contract for reducing the CO2 emissions. I really don't think that the US economy will suffer that much. (?)

Yes it is happening as a natural course of nature. No man has nothing to do with it.
Were the Neanderthals and Early Man, burning Fossil Fuels, to Start the Global Warming that brought about the end of the Ice Age?
Do you know it is the same photographs (Polar Ice Caps) that are used NOW to "Prove" Global Warming, that were used in the 1970's to "Prove" Man was causing Global Cooling?
Was it the Reptiles fault that brought about the Warming of the Earth that allowed the Dinosaurs to flourish for 220,000,000 years?
This has happened thoughout time folks.
It's called Nature, and Man didn't do it!!!

Global Warming is an incovient truth, many people think its not serious but it is.Why do some people think Global Warming isnt serious?Becuz they're trying to ignore the fact that if we dont change our lifestyle...who knows what'll happen, something not good thats for sure.Think of some of the animals...Polar Bears are drowning because the ice is melting. As temperature rises,so does the the heat-related illness and even death for the vulnerable human population.Global Warming will cause intence rainstorms.Another consequence of Global Warming is deadly heat waves and the spread of disease.
We can make a difference by doing the following things:if you have to go to the market//store try walking there walk more, you can recyle, replace your incandescent bulbs with flourescent bulbs they might cost more but they eventually pay for them selves becuz they dont burn out, recycle, instead of turning on your AC open your window, whenever possible use a clothing line instead of a dryer, unplug electronice from the wall whenever you're not using them, plant a tree.

"Global Warming is one of the most serious threats facing our country and our planet today. Scientists agree that global warming is real and caused by human activities and many say we have only 10 years to take action before we cause irreversible harm.
Excessive resource and energy use and a growing demand for raw materials are largely responsible for the depletion of natural resources worldwide and the acceleration of global warming – which is contributing to rising sea levels, extreme weather patterns, extended droughts and floods, disappearing glaciers, and increased health risks.

Fortunately, there are many things we can each do to respond: use less energy, drive greener cars, green our homes, and demand that corporate leaders and our elected officials act today.

40% of the world’s resource and energy use is linked to the construction and maintenance of buildings, and about 33% of greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S. come from transportation. By reducing our energy consumption at home and at work, by building green buildings that are more energy efficient, and by driving and demanding more fuel-efficient vehicles, we can begin to make a difference. Yes. Global warming is happening just as it did one thousand years ago. Man is not the cause. Research for yourself what the critics of Al Gore and the United Nations are saying.

P.S. Don't listen to Bob's answer above. A Theory is proven when it can be tested and the test can be repeated and the result is always the same.

People here disagree, because they have widely differing amounts of knowledge of the scientific data.

Among scientists, there is very little disagreement, because of the conclusive scientific data:

Global warming is real and mostly caused by us. The only way a scientific theory is considered "proven" is when the scientific community accepts the evidence proves it. There's no "Supreme Court" to make the decision, and there are always a few skeptics.

"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know - except maybe Newton's second law of dynamics. Global warming is almost a no-brainer at this point,You really can't find intelligent, quantitative arguments to make it go away."

yes, i live in fiji islands in the south pacific. i live along the coast line and my home is just a few meters away from the beaches facing the pacific ocean. when i was five, the shoreline was at least a solid twenty meters away from my house, now it is just five meters away from the house, i can hear and see the waves from my window, to you living in the western world, fifteen metres might not matter much, but to us in the pacific islands, even a centimeter rise in sealevel is of concern, global warming is happening and in next ten years the waves will be at my door. what do we in the pacific need to do next to convice people around the world about global warming, you tell me

Almost everybody acknowledges that global warming is happening. The debate now is about whether or not humans are the primary cause.

Yes - not because of a movie I've seen, websites I've visited, newspapers or TV reports (all of which can be distorted one way or another) but because I've spent much of the last 23 years studying it. When you're able to produce the evidence yourself and see it in front of you it makes it kind of hard to ignore.

If you wish to make your own mind up then concentrate only on facts and ignore opinions. Facts can't be distorted, opinions can be anything the purveyor wants them to be.

NO WAY!!! Anybody that believes thats true is just falling for what the liberal media wants you to believe. watch this video, it scientifically proves everything wrong that the global warming nuts want you to believe.

For instance, all those morons that tell you that the polar ice caps are gonna melt, and Florida is going to sink into the ocean, are soooo stupid. you would have to have hundreds of trillions of CUBIC miles of water for that to ever happen, you would have to raise the entire ocean at least 30 feet!!! don't believe all the crap that the liberals are trying to feed you!!! THINK!!!

Yes. I am sure man has something to do with it.
Maybe not all, but something.
Greenland will probably actually be green instead
of ice white in a few years.
