Can we hold the absolute and the relative in our hands at the same time? Not opposed, but here all the time, together?

This is our work; this can be done!
Sun Face Buddha, Moon Face Buddha.

Does this have something to do with this question?
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnhnsKAPBqx2ANVZPnr_l2fsy6IX?qid=20070616144239AA3VSxg&show=7#profile-info-AA11445091

I only say this because I searched with the term of Moon face Buddha and clicked on a link that took me to an explanation that resonated with that question. It contained:

"We can get fixed in our sadness and spread it to others. How can we be honest in our practice, acknowledging the illness, but also be attentive in offering to others what will alleviate rather than perpetuate their illness? "

It added a dimension to "dispassionate" and reminded me of the question I had previously answered, which incidentally, I might not have seen had you not added me as a contact and starred the question. Of course, all this is just a musing, and I cannot say what face I have! I'm too busy laughing at the connections! Thanks for adding me by the way; it created one more level of connection between concepts swirling about on this forum!

Interestingly enough, just before the quote I cited above, there is a passage about people meeting themselves in dark caves. Reminded me of "The Empire Strikes Back" and the cave on Dagobah. So, if I am Moon face Buddha, I am also Sun face Buddha!

Another aside: I obtained for this season a T-shirt from a yard sale. It has a huge stylized sun on it, and I have been soaking up more rays than normal these days, whether I wish to or not...this rambling post brought to you by the magic of Google!
