Have you seen a psychiatrist? If not you need to and if so you need to go back. I have also felt the weird disconnected feeling. Let me ask you this, are you on any antidepressants? If you are and just begun it could be the med's are causing this feeling. It will for a while. It could also be that the medication is not right for you. See the Dr. Email me if you need to talk. I will be happy to hear from you.

Baby you are in a scary place and the help is with a real professional. See a psychologist. I have suffered with depression all my life and have been on a variety of medications. But for some reason it just wasn't enough. Due to a very traumatic childhood and futher adulthood I went through life in a daze barely "there". Just last year I met the right doctor and got the right diagnosis and recieved the right medicine and my life has just started. So don't give up. There is help available. You just don't take any old answer if it doesn't work for you. Keep trying until you find the right one. Every one is an individual and no two problems or solutions are the same. So keep on looking until the answer is found. Belive me- you'll know it when you find it!!! And remember you are not alone.

Your mental health is obviously not what it should be; did you see a psychiatrist or was this a general practitioner? If you went into detail with this doctor about this hallucinogenic state, find a new doctor, preferably a psychiatrist, ASAP.
Psychiatrists are medical doctors specializing in brain issues; psychologists deal with emotional issues through talk therapy and are generally not MD's. Right now you need a medical doctor.
Although this is most likely a brain chemistry issue, you do need examination to rule out other sources like thyroid and hormones. I won't try to diagnose what is going on because that is the role of the Dr..
If you feel like you might be harmful to yourself or others, go to a hospital immediately. Good luck, you can get to the bottom of things. Educate yourself as well because it takes a team effort to get the best treatment.

Kelly there is probably nothing wrong with you,you might be experiencing a shift in your consciousness, are you spiritually aware of anything that is happening to us as humans on this planet. If you are not then you have a great insight that you can claim as your very own experience. I suggest you read the "Celestine Prophecies"by James Redfield.Another book that has helped me on this journey is "Black Elk Speaks"by John G.Neihardt. "Hollow Bones" by Stephan Paul.Kelly there are some major changes going on ,you may have a purpose that you are not even aware of. You are not alone. And if you are diagnosed with depression welcome to the club.Get the proper amount of sleep and EAT RIGHT get plenty of exercise. You don't have to suffer, take care of yourself No one will do it for you.I think that most of us just don't follow the BASIC simple rule and that is, Eat,Sleep ,Exercise. And Love your self.Be good to your self.Love people and have compassion for all living beings..Bless you Kelly and go find some enlightenment in your life. You will be surprised what you find. And if you were prescribed Meds for your depression take it untill this all passes.we all need a little help now and then,Go get some body work done Massage.Reiki,Accupressure.Anything is better than nothing, I hope everything goes well for you you cried out I listened this is all I have for you for now Blessings, and Peace One Love, One World.

I agree that this could be a dissociative disorder. Dissociative disorders and depression can coexist, because both can be the result of traumatic experiences.
Can you get a second opinion? I think you're best off talking to a therapist or psych doc who specializes or has experience in trauma and dissociative disorders. Because if you're not schizophrenic, and you get diagnosed as one, that could be big trouble. I have a friend with a dissociative disorder who was diagnosed as schizophrenic. He wasted a few years and did who-knows-what to his brain getting heavy-duty psych drugs when what he needed was trauma therapy! If you are schizophrenic, those drugs might do you good. But it's really important to talk to somebody who knows how to tell the difference!
There's a lot of info on the web under "dissociative disorders", including the web site of the Sidran Foundation, which has therapist listings. "Dissociation: The Hidden Epidemic- I think the author's name is Nancy Shapiro- is a good book on the subject.
Good luck with stuff- it can be really crazy-making, but it can be healed

There is definitely something wrong with the chemical flow in your Brain. I would try meeting with neurologist of some sort. If you live in Southern California I can refer you to my doc who I work with and so does my friend and he is amazing. I would also being working with a psychiatrist that specialize in manic depression or schizophrenia. Good luck to you.

If there is a history of abuse in your past, with or without your knowledge, you may be experiencing depersonalization, which is a form of disassociation, and the sense of "dejavu" could be repressed memories attempting to come forth. I would look for a doctor who is experienced with trauma or ptsd. Even if you don't have either, they are more equipped to address the out of body experience your having, which sounds like depersonalization.

No responsible person will diagnose over the internet!
Have you been taking mind-alterring drugs?
Have you been eating nutritious food?
Have you been drinking healthy water, in adequate amounts?
Do you exercise?
That's a place to start.

God loves you, and you are precious to Him. Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation, and qualifying us to Heaven. Just come to Him with sincere repentance and faith, and you will find peace, joy, hope and meaning, for your life. This life on earth is short and uncertain, but Heaven is wonderful beyond descriptions and forever without end. Never, never, miss Heaven for anything.
My best wishes for happiness and Heaven.
