I have a 99 GMC Suburban and I got in it to leave and it wouldnt start. I had just driven it an hour before and it was fine. All gauges are lit and battery is charged. Could it be the carb or starter?

You will have to do some checking. If the battery can supply the truck with power to get the lights on, it should be able to supply the starter with enough to click the solenoid. If you don't hear anything from the starter, you probably have an open starter circuit or a problem inside the starter. What you have to do is run a battery/starter check to be sure the battery is good enough to do its job. If you don't have that, try a boost. If the boost lets it start, the battery is very weak and needs replacement. If it still won't start, you will have to determine if there is power to the solenoid from the battery and to the start wire of the solenoid when the key is turned to crank. These trucks have anti-theft so you have to eliminate that from interfering with the startting of the truck. Lots of diagnosis here, but it migh t be very simple. Good luck.

the main undemanding undertaking that reasons the engine on your truck to no longer initiate is the gasoline pump The engine won't initiate if the stress is below 50 psi. The sensors could additionally reason the engine to no longer initiate regardless of the incontrovertible fact that.
