Satan is not more powerful, not even as powerful. Back in the day, when he was first created, he was called Lucifer, he was the most beautiful angel there was, and he was not evil, but then he got this notion in his head that he could be just as good as God, God kick him out and all the other angels that wanted to follow Satan, (they are now called demons) , God let him have some con troll over the planet after the fall, after Adam and Eve sinned, It was there choice, it is all about choice, either we follow Satan of God, He allows Satan to do such, because He loves us enough that He doesn't want to force us to Him, that's why we have choice. He seemed to be the better choice, so I picked God.

It's not so much that GOD allows Satan to be in control as much as he gives humanity the freedom of choice, and the sinful choices we make gice Satan power over us, therefore putting him in control of us until we repent. I think that may be what the principal meant. God is always in charge and always the more powerful being, but instead of setting us on a strick life course, he lets us make our own decisions and decide our own fate; and sometimes, thats where WE go wrong. No, Satan is a angel not a god. Plus the bible in :
Isaiah 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and CREATE EVIL: I the LORD do all these things
The Lord said himself that he create evil and peace.
A lot of so called Christan read this part of the bible and don't believe it, therefore they deny the power of God.

Perhaps some of us are only choosing Satan over God. God gave us free will. But, maybe we are only inadvertently choosing Satan over God. Sometimes, we are fooled by the wolf in sheep's clothing.
The abhorrent reaction we have to evil is generally greater than the endearing reaction we have to good. So, perhaps the grip Satan seemingly has on others is just a mirage.

Satan is nothing more than the manifestation of the our desires. If someone wants to steal, then the opportunity for stealing is presented to him. If someone wants to rape, then arrangements are made to give that opportunity as well. Why does God allow that? Even the bible poses the question. "If the son asks for a fish, will his father give him a stone"? God gives us what we desire, but our desires come with consequences. Just like a child who wants a bicycle. The father will give him the bicycle, but he also knows that the child will probably fall and hurt himself. Nonetheless, the father will try and teach the son the proper use of the bike, to minimize the suffering. Each decision we make has a predetermined set of consequences. If you want to steal, you may, but you will also be known as a thief, you may go to jail, and you will not be allowed to be happy.
Eventually, we realize that our material desires cannot make us happy, and we give them up, in favor of the desire to please God. Our desires, personified as Satan, cannot be more powerful than God, because we ALL eventually give up our material desires and go home.

The Bible says this:
"each one is tempted when, BY HIS OWN EVIL DESIRE, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death" (James 1:14-15).
The devil is God's devil, and the devil is NOT in charge. But the evil of this world is done by people who through their own own desires behave like the devil. The evil man does what his urges demand, and no doubt Satan dangles carrots in front of man.
As to why God does not destroy Satan, we might ask why God let's any of us exist since we do the most evil in the world. But God has promised that Satan will be eventually thrown into Hell with all who are like him, demonic angel and man alike.
I suppose God let's us keep breathing because out of our number will arise those that despite failure and sin, will continue to serve Christ and not the devil. Currenlty those of that number are called Christians.

Free will and choice. You have the power to choose which road of life you want to walk down. To make it more fair, God wants you to see EVERYTHING..so, there has to be two sides to everything! He allows Satan to tempt you to see how you respond and react. But, it is only til Jesus returns, Then Satan and all his Angels will be powerless and cast into the pit of fire. Til then, God allows him to help us decide on our choices. Thanks for asking and have a great day!

No. GOD Almighty is Infinitely more powerful.
So, where does that leave US?
If you give your car keys to somebody AND sign a Legal Document giving him,her 100 percent authority Over the car that YOU Legally Own (you did'nt sign over OverShip, Just Authority over it)---Then YOU have to go Ask that person if YOU can drive it, wash it etc.. And if that person says NO, YOU cannot touch your own car that you Legally own.
GOD gave the keys and authority over the Earth to Adam. Adam kicked GOD outta' the Earth Legally (for 6000 Years) and gave the keys and authority over to satan and his bunch.
That's where the Curse, Sin, Sickness, Disease, Accidents, Poverty so on and so on come from.
None of these things are in Heaven.
Hope this helps.

No, don't think he is more powerful or less. It is who you let take you over, that you believe in most. They get their power through you. If God is in your heart, he is the most powerful God.
If you take the other road and let evil into your heart, then Satan is the most powerful to you.
God allows us the choice. It is up to us to make the right choice.
