I'm not a thorough expert, no more than you are a thorough expert. The truth is the world does not hold any thorough experts.

Good question. It's not about being an expert, it's about believing that everything the bible says is true. The bible was written by a bunch of men so I don't get it. I think it's more about people judging others which is NOT what Jesus would do. Christians who feel they should try to "fix" someone for being gay are really living in fear and ignorance. most of my basis of sexuality is based on observation. the homosexuals around me confess to being in it for the sensuality, not for any feelings. others are based on simple logic: if I know guys who struggle with sensual urges; getting a sexual thrill in any way possible (not feelings, urges) then why should I automatically believe homosexuality is purely biological? how do I know they just aren't confusing urges with being bi? others is "why is this justifyable over something else similar?"

ex: pedophilia is the sexual attraction to children by adults. not rape. so why is it that if a pedophile "comes out", it's abhorred? not like she's actually gunna rape a child (I think that's what that 'convictioist' fella was trying to make fun of)
