i'm either gonna get a Pontiac Grand Am GT, a VW Passat, or a jeep wrangler. which is best and why. what are their specs and stuff.

get the VW, pontiacs are horrible and unless you are gonna get the 4 door wrangler its not worth is....they also have the highest theft rate

VW parts are outrageous and dealers are few and far between. Jeep's resale and service histories are pretty much the bottom of the barrel.
Go for the Pontiac GT. for about 20 good reasons. Particularly because of the 100,000 power train warranty.
If you'd like something a little quicker a plain Jane Toyota Camry SE with the V6 will rock your world for nearly the same money. There's no "quit chip" (ignition shut off) in these cars so the speedometer means business.

The Passat. The Pontiac is only so-so at best, and has horrible resale value. The Jeep is fun to own-for about a week. Jeeps are not very fuel efficient, and the ride is very rough.

The GT is nice, but you might get better gas mileage out of the passat. The Jeep, because it has a short wheel base, will be susceptible to tipping/flipping.
