Buying more 8 Cylinder SUV's Or Sports Cars, that get 12 Miles Per Gallon, Belch Smog, use gas, Leave Pollution, Drive everywhere and SCREAM that Bush is to Blame, while having a Bumper Sticker that says "Stop Global Warming".
And all the "Hot Air" that comes out of Hollywood??? Probably the biggest cause...

Well for one thing, the natives like me are leaving. Too many people coming to the siren call of politicians and others who extoll the merits of the place while destroying those same merits with the flood of newcomers. The city is finally building more mass transit, after destroying what was there before. But as long as developers stand to profit from newcomers and the developers are the biggest contributors to power hungry politicians, the population growth will continue to push the envelope of resources, including water and space.

I don't know why don't you go ask them?
Go to L.A and walk around the streets taking a survey on what they think they are doing about it.
But while your at it you might just want to wear a bullet proof vest because you never know.....
