The Catholic Church is officially on record as warning people that there's something not quite right about what happens there, and the Church will not allow any official pilgrimages there, or allow any bishop or priest to officially endorse what happens there.
Many Catholics do believe something supernatural happens there, but that is their own prerogative.
If supernatural events do occur at Medjugorje, it's probably due to the large number of good and holy people who gather together there for prayer, and not much else.
But that's just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

There may be something supernatural happening at Medjugorje but it is not from God. The Roman Catholic church has disapproved of these apparitions and thus Medjugorje does not have the stamp of approval as the Fatima or Lourdes Marian apparitions possess. The faithful are warned not to place their trust in the Medjugorge apparitions for danger to their faith.

how come catholics are the only religious group to believe?
i guess the lord didnt want anyone else in the world to get any grace!
..im just a lowly bible believer.
im wondering why mary is holding a child in her arms,when jesus has already grown up..also why isnt he carrying her instead..that would make more sense.
also..why havent these people spread the SECRETS they were givin?
sounds like all the other junk SOME catholics preach.
