Well, honestly you are wasting your money on the crap from the store. You could spend $15 for a tube of frontline and be done with it. That actually works.

Flea shampoos, collars, powders - all outdated and pretty rubbishy methods.

To get rid of fleas, you really need to get some proper treatment like Frontline. If you really live too far away, get some from online. I don't usually condone buying treatment on the internet, but they fact of the matter is, this is the only kind of stuff that is going to get rid of fleas.

People are going to suggest Dawn Dish Soap. Don't do it, don't waste your time, it only washes fleas off, and the ones from your house will just reinfest the animal right away. You ned to buy some house spray too - you ALWAYS need to treat both the animal and the environment when fleas are present.

The only way you're going to get rid of the fleas is by getting Frontline - you should have considered how far away you lived from the where you can buy such things when you got the dog.You can order online from numerous websites - just google it. If you don't treat them, the dog will be totally over run with them & your house will become infested - not nice, so get to the vet or get googling.

You can buy from the Internet and you don't need to see a vet. Get Advantix or Frontline or if you also need heartworm protection try Revolution. The over-the-counter stuff isn't very effective. And you must treat your yard with something like Sevin dust to keep the infestation from starting again. Hope this helps and good luck.

God the fleas this year are terrible arnt they???? I know what you mean abought the flea shampoo. I dosent even make a dent in the amount of fleas on my several very large dogs. I recently had a dog with mange and i asked (on yahoo) what could i do instead of going to the vet. Someone told me to mix the sulfure with motor oil. I tried it and it worked wonderfully!!!!! I found that it not only got rid of the mange but it ran the fleas off of our entire property!!!!!!! But i must warn you. The sulfur and the motor oil mixed makes a green color so youll end up with a green dog for a while. (just until it whashes off) but its pretty funny to see!!!!!!!

you will have to go to the store, or use www.petmeds.com and wait for it to come.

advantage, frontline and revolution are all good.

capstar kills the fleas within a few hours, but needs redone in a short time, as it only kills the adults and not the eggs.

Sorry you are going to have to find someone to take you into town or order Advantix online. Fleas are very tough to get rid of and will just keep multiplying if you don't do something soon.
