Yes, Brother it does exist. I am so blessed to experience it with my husband. Unfortunately it can be challenged every day in this confused and dysfunctional world we live in.

I used to think that 'true love' meant that the person really loved the other.
In recent times I've discovered that it means they won't shag anyone else. This seems ridiculous as a measure of anything worthwhile, and I have little respect left for 'true love'.
It also means that 'true love' is basically unobtainable except by extortion, restriction and limitation. These are a lousy basis for a relationship, and not something I'd ask of someone I loved, nor expect from anyone professing to love me.

I think it exists...it's not over rated, but other aspects of life are..once you get over the surprise on how relationships truly are over time, I think you learn more about true love.

True love does exist and can still be found. God blesses us by giving someone that we can fall in love with and one that can love us. There isn't just one person who you can fall in love with but there is one who fits in the puzzle of your life the best. God designs people to be good for each and even in some cases, he makes people for each other; i.e. Adam and Eve.

I think the whole idea of "soualmates" is over rated. No one person is going to fit your lifestyle perfectly. No one person is going to sweep in and then everything suddenly awesome. Love is a choice, you choose to be with that person despite their flaws (with the exception of flaws like violence and cheating) but it has to be a choice on both parts.

modern mans answer to the death of god by Nietsche. Americans have a cult like devotion to the idea of love. Love is the answer for just about every problem. You might call it a religion given the total number of adherents.

Call me old fashioned, but I do believe true love can still be found. Sometimes, it takes a while to find the right one.

A person cannot love anyone until they meet with the love of God. The world has twisted love into believing that it is all about what a person can do for me ,it's all about me.
God says that loving someone is to sacrifice for them , so that they can receive your love in a way, that they are compelled to return that love. Loving someone always considers what you can do for that person.
