This is such a disgrace, since everyone knows that our Founding Fathers were all practicing Neo-Sumerian fire worshippers. We need to return to our roots, as Neo-Sumerian fire worhsippers, and throw out these silly usurping Christians, Jews, Muslims and various agnostic/atheists!

Goerge Washington intended for all of us to worship the Sumerian River God Marduk, who with his mighty dog crossed the River Euphrates and brought law and understanding to all.

This crazy idea about Republicans being extreme right Christians is a clever deception -- God intended for us to worship the deities of ancient Ur.

Please govern yourselves accordingly.

I can stake all my life savings on the fact that the next Republican debate, or any GOP debate in the future will never be solely on a test of knowledge of the Bible, much less on the intricacies of theology. Republicans, I find, on both the grassroots level and on the level of top politicians, may outwardly profess dogmatic beliefs about Christianity, but the truth is most know little about it.

Republicans and their Christian right constituency prove the dictum that a little knowledge in small minds is indeed a very dangerous thing. A true debate over the many issues germane to Christian theology would prove how bankrupt these people are with regards to their grasp of the religion they claim to adhere to.

I hope so. That would be very entertaining. I could invite friends over for a BBQ and we could laugh and laugh and laugh over grown adult men debating a fantasy novel.

No. Because Republican is not synonymous with Christian. And Democrat is not synonymous with non-Christian.

Atheists are horrible with stereotypes. (And if you notice, that's a stereotype...just trying to drive my point home in case anyone is not schooled in sarcasm)
