I am a scientist and a Christian. My Bible tells me "test all things." I can believe and have faith in both what God tells me, and what my senses tell me.
Anyone who says the two don't add up is pushing some narrow dogma, and I'll have no part of it.
I believe evolution is the means by which God created man. I'm not sure what "ism" that is, but I sleep well at night.
Good question gets a star.

I don't think science itself is particular to either of them. How that science is used probably leads more one way than another on some things.
I don't claim to be a scientist and if I were, evolution, intelligent design etc. is still just a concept that men and women of science have come up with. I am not saying that they might not be right about the intelligent design thing...but I can not judge...nor can most other people who have a tendency to quote from it like they really understand the science behind it.

I believe that much of The Bible is meant to be symbolic, including the creation story of Adam and Eve. I believe that science is the way we discover more about how God designed the universe.
I don't know what the current theory of "Intelligent Design" is, but I do accept the theory of evolution.

No.
I accept most of it.
Evolution is the best theory going with the information we have at hand. There are still some holes in it. The only people who think that evolution proves or disproves G-d are mis using science.
I object to the school that ban the kids from coming in with their questions about evolution because people like you claim it was teaching creationism.
I don't know enough about Intelligent Design yet to make any kind of judgement on it.
Science and Christianity are not at odds with one another unless people make it so.

Science is of God. Corrupted by sin, used by Satan
I believe in God. Since He is the author of all things scientific, I believe in science. However you are obviously referring to the theories behind evolution and Intelligent Design. Scientists are determined to prove the theories they have. There is nothing wrong with that. But until they are proven beyond theory, I'll continue to explore all facets.
Theories will never go away. There will always be something around the corner to discover and investgate. That's who God is - a God if infinity.
blessings :)

First of all, science is of God because we as people are meant to master the arts and science to unlock the secrets of our world to enhance the life of others and in doing so giving glory to God. Secondly, I believe in an evolution based on the fact that God created the world over a period of billions of years(which is not unbelievable since God always was and is eternal so time has no bearing on God). I do not believe that we evolved from apes but I do believe we evolved from other types of man like the Australopithecene, Java , Neanderthal man and Cro-Magnon man.To me God used Intelligent Design in a mixture with evolution to display the beauties of a natural creation.

I don't believe anything good comes from Satan. So it depends on what type of science you're referring to. There are many areas of science that do good but some are just plain foolishness. One example of the foolishness is evolution. No facts, just suppositions. The people in that field who call themselves scientists take evidence they find and apply their belief system to interpret the evidence as they see fit. Of course evidence that has to be interpreted can have more than one interpretation. To me that's not good science.

Science is of man. We are intellegent beings, so we have designed ways to do things that are amazing, but we still haven't been able to form synthetic life, and I don't think we ever will. Everything we do(are able to do) revolves around that which God constructed in some way, shape or form. After all, he made us in the first place!

Definately of God. Scripture states that man will acquire vast knowledge in time. Hey look around us. I definately believe in ID. God's work is best manifested through science.
