You shouldn't take Ambien at all if you've been drinking...

Do not drink alcohol while taking zolpidem. Alcohol will increase drowsiness and may increase dizziness while you are taking zolpidem, which could be dangerous.

It is better if you do not drink before you take any sleep aid, the alcohol will intensify the already great results of the ambien, perhaps slow your breathing down too much...oops don't want to die, just get good sleep, right?

I know people that drink and take ambien. Problem is, what is a few? THey are still alove so far, BTW

Do not drink alcohol because it's bad for your health. You could get addicted to it. Instead, drink water or another healthy drink.

DO NOT DRINK AT ALL. Drinking is very bad for you and you can get addicted to it and things will get really bad.
