Before the flood, there was no rain, the climate was such that a mist covered the earth, I guess you haven't read that part, its in Genesis. That is why it was so hard to convince people about torrential rains, they never saw rain period. That is why they pounded on the door and screamed when it did.

The description of the flood is the only occurrence in history that has been recorded around the world by every race of man, so it has to be true.

The animals were able to interbreed after the flood without having genetic malformations and the same with humans as well. For goodness sake, Noah's daughter got Noah intoxicated, had intercourse and produced offspring. The reason he got intoxicated is because the juice fermented, which never did before in the climate the way it was before the flood.

So no, Noah didn't have a Polar Bear, nor a Penguin in those days, they developed later from adaptations to a changed environment.

Go check out the Great Pyrenees dogs, they were Saint Bernard's that the monks took up high in the mountains with them, then the pups being born became white, a whole different breed of dog.

Before the flood, the climate was different than what we know today. Also, Noah did not take 2 of every species known today. He may have taken two bears - and they became the ancestors of all the bears we have today.

After all, Noah and his family are the only humans to survive the flood - and from that family has come all the humans that are on the earth today.
