Some1 i talk to on Y! messenger really want's to hear my voice, but i wont let him, its only b/c i hav tha voice of an 11 yr old, and i dont want him to laugh, or mock me!, i doubt he would, but ya never know, it would be SO EMBARRESSING if he laughed at me :"( (he has let me hear his) he is so stubborn! and im waaay to shy to let him, and not just him, EVERYONE!, should i even though im shy?
I cant stand letting any1 hear my voice, only my m8's, not that he isnt my m8, but the others hav heard my voice b4 :-(, thats y i can let THEM hear, its all very confusing for me & him.
idk wut to do :((. Help?

The only thing I can suggest that might help you is to practice your instrument (voice) and make it do what you want it to. I am a singer and there are times when a song might be too high for me. Without straining, I can work my voice into a more mellow sound and create the illusion of a 'soprano' or high voice and still sing the song. You can do that with your voice. You have to practice lowering your tones when you speak so that you will have a more mellow sound in a lower register. It takes time and patience and discipline to do this, but it can be done. Look around in the library or on line for some ideas to help you practice. On the other hand, if that's the voice you were dealt with - you might just have to get over it and be you. If that's your natural sounding voice - hey - you have to live with it.

Do you know who he is? Really?
You could create a sound file and send that to him, keep it simple and short. That way you wont make a mess of things by giggling or by not knowing what to say, therefor you wouldn't feel embarrassed.
Try it and wait for his reaction, if he mocks you in any way he's not worth the effort.

its ok dear...u dont have to be shy...there is nothing to laugh abt even if u sound like an 11yrs old....im sure he wont laugh at u...
u cant juz go on stop talking to every new person juz bcoz u got a 11yrs old voice!

dont worry about it im 34 and when im at my mams and the phone rings if i answer it they allwys ask me if my mammy is there.lol i sound like a kid but people like it. were inique. so let him here ur voice just warn him that u sound younger than u really are. ope my advice helps babe xxps ive answerd ur questions b4.

well i'm 12 and i sound like a damn 4 year old..why not tape someone really cool saying something and play it into your mic or whatever and tell him it's you :P
