Have you checked the volume control on the computer?
Click on the little speaker, bottom right of screen, on a PC.
First, check if the speakers work at all, by testing them.
You can plug them into a CD player or portable radio.
Some speakers need batteries in them to run, check.
Other speakers have their own power supply, check.
Then double-check the back of your computer.
There may be more than one place to plug them in.
Check the manual for your make of computer.
Go to the maker's web-site to verify.
Lastly, it could be your sound card is blown.
That would mean going into the shop.

power supply probably just went out. if its not a expensive brand then i would just invest in some more speakers.. before doing so,double check all ur settings on your computer also. sound cards can mess up(where ur speakers plug into back of computer). make sure u not muted.

you should check if your volume control is in your system tray, if not go to your control panel and choose sounds and audio devices to make sure you have drivers installed. if not go to cont.panel and open the system folder/hardware/device manager/ sound, video and game controllers. try to reinstall drivers there, just follow the prompts
