See the vet. She might be forming a cataract. It happens with dogs with that type of hair early in life sometimes.

It could be a number of conditions. If she's diabetic (whether you know it or not) they could be cataracts - although as you've described them to be on the 'outside' of her eyes, perhaps this is unlikely.

These may be eye ulcers. It's not uncommon to get them in the same place on both eyes. You said you were trimming the hair on her face; it could be that hair on her face has been irritating her eyes and causing ulcers to form.

You need to take her to a vet, if you don't already realise that. One thing's for sure: there's a problem here, and if it's left then she could indeed lose her sight, but the sooner you get her to a vet the more likely it is she'll be cured.

Take her to the vet. It could be a cataract,or a corneal ulcer. Only a vet will be able to tell for sure by looking at it. It may be something easily fixed with some antibiotics.

Or sometimes if you given them a bath or brush little bits of fur can come off and get in their eyes. I saw it happen to a cavalier once and thought it was cateracts or something- just hair... If that's what it is it will come out on it's own...

Can you please be more specific with your answer? I mean, I have a Bichon but I don't think he has what you just described. I just checked his eyes. Just call the nearest animal clinic immediatly. If its nothing serious they'll tell you so.
