I don't want to exactly come out and say Happy Father's Day, but I do want to acknowledge the fact that he has been such a huge blessing to both of us, especially my son.

Here's a little poem I found earlier and I marked the page, maybe it was intended for you.............
It's called
Second Dad
Even though you're not my Dad
I know that you'll be there
With the little things you do
You let me know you care

You're always there to help
whatever the need may be
You've given of yourself...
and so unselfishly

Now your becoming the Dad
that I have never known
I'm drawn to you more everyday
for the kindness you have shown

I just want to thank you
and let you know I care
A second Dad as great as you
Is something very rare.

I don't know the relationship that your son has with his real Dad, but this is a good poem to tell your bf how much your son looks up to him and being there as his Dad.

You and your son can wash his car together. He'll probably join in, but at the very least he'll enjoy watching the two of you play around while doing it.

Have fun! Give him lots of hugs and just have a great day together, the three of you.
