How is Busch series different from other NASCAR races?

The Busch cars have slightly less horsepower and a shorter wheelbase than the cup cars and the length of their races is shorter. Cup races are longer and truck races are even shorter than the Busch races. For the most part they use a lot of the same tracks but the Busch series is at Kentucky this week and they raced Nashville last week, 2 tracks that the cup series doesn't go to. The Busch series has also traveled to a road course in Mexico the last 2 years and will be going to Canada later this season. The way you win the Busch series is different as well, there is no chase format so they don't reset points with 10 races to go. Basically this year's winner is already determined because Carl Edwards is already 745 points ahead of the next fulltime Busch series driver.

I don't know all the technical specifications. I do know Busch cars have smaller engines, chasis, and bodies then the Cup Cars.

Also, Busch Teams are alotted only so many tires each race while the Cup Cars are unlimited. Busch Races are between 50-75% the length of a Cup Race.

busch runs at about 650-700 hp while the cup cars are pulling 800 same motor but the cars are setup slightly different with a smaller wheelbase and are not meant to be on the track for 400-500 miles

all nascar divisions have the same cubic inch motor in them with NASCAR mandated parts. the setups are different from team to team. for a busch team, the wheelbase is 100inches. cup cars are 110. they both have 358 cubic inch motors. but cup cars put out about 800 horsepower, when busch puts about half that.
