If so, how did the fresh and sea(salt) water become seperated again as it was before the flood?
Chemistry-wise, not geography-wise.

nosnod------just say you don't know.......don't whine.
If the waters were mixed together obviously, factually they had to be seperated again. I'm just asking how it happened. If it bothers you, then maybe it's because you don't know the answer. So you attack me instead for asking a question you can't answer.
Just answer the question people. No debates.
How did the water seperate again?

emily----this flood was a long time ago too.
I'm not doubting they are talking about some kind of major flood that really happened.......but the "world" they were aware of was far from global.
There was a whole lot they weren't aware of back then, hence all of the "stories" to explain it all.

I sail in the salty waters of the Great Salt Lake.. After each use of my outboard I must flush it out. Guess what it works! As the water resided the new rains washed any raiment of the sea back into it's place... Jim

Depends on your definition of "The Earth" at the time of the flood. When both the Gilgamesh and the Biblical account was written, the "Earth" as it was known at the time was actually the area around the Mediterranean ocean. As far as the writers were concerned, North and South America were unknown as were far eastern regions and far southern African areas. The "flood" probably did not cover the entire Earth, only their "known" Earth: their region because there was never enough water on the planet to cover the Rocky Mountains or the Alps in addition to the Tigres/Euphrates River basin. Remember, the area of the flood is low-basin which means an influx of water into this isolated area could result in a massive flood under the right conditions. As for the re-separation of the waters, you have to remember that flowing water has great force and re-shapes land masses even today. Salt water and fresh water have different densities so they will naturally separate with the higher density flowing to lower levels depending on how flood waters and their forces re-shaped the land. Was that an act of God? Sure. Nature and basic Physics and Chemistry is what God is in the long run. Or should I say, He established those laws. We just discover them.

curiously and technological information consents, at one time earlier the Earth replaced right into a watery deep. Then as issues eventuated an ecosystem greater and all of us comprehend concerning to the layers contained interior of. all of us comprehend that fairly some water is contained interior the ambience. consequently, if all the water replaced into going to abruptly drop from the sky and all the water replaced into pulled out from below the Earth, as quickly as lower back we'd have a watery deep, So this shows the possibility. additionally to characteristic to this, the Bible states that it had not rained up until the time of the flood, however the moisture come down from the sky in a dew-like variety to maintain the floor watered. So a thoroughly diverse moisture layer contained interior the sky, particularly like a water cover one might desire to anticipate. while God brought about it to rain for the 1st time, he might have dropped the best purchase at as quickly as over the 40 day era. Afterwards, a clean atmospheric substitute replaced into to stick to and consequently we've a rainbow which curiously replaced into by no potential seen until now. not greater replaced into all of this water contained interior the sky blockading the sunlight interior the particular way it did, now the sunlight penetrated by in the variety of way that it produced a rainbow because of the fact the sunshine on the moisture made it available.

God flooded the world. The 'world' is the land that the people knew of back then, the land where people lived, not the entire planet. Back at that time, people only lived in the northern part of Africa, eastern part of Europe like where Greece is today, Iraq (that's were Garden of Eden is), Iran, Turkey (it was called Mesopotamia in the Bible), Saudi Arabia. This is where people lived so this is what the 'world' was to them at that time.
After the flood, water receded and lakes & rivers formed. Such as the Mediterranian Sea, Nile River, etc. Hope this helps. Peace!

I don't know. Very few fish or sea life can live in either fresh water or salt water. I don't know how anyone can explain a global flood as a literal fact. Check out the link of other questions that can't be answered if such a flood occurred.

Its says in the Bible that everything obey's God's commands.
When the made the earth it was entirely water, then he made the land come. (Genesis)
So after he flooded the earth as in Noah's Ark times, He just told the water to retract and get off the land.
He tells the ocean how far it can come on the land. Scientifically, who knows how it was done?

there is a technical answer to this: you could refreeze the poles and let the cycle of water vapor ( which has no salt) purify the fresh side.
but well you know its impossible to flood the earth with all the ice avaliable so he miracled in a bunch of water and miracled it back out once the slaughter was complete.

Aren't you 'assuming' the seas were salt before the flood? Think this through. What is the salinity of the oceans today? What is the salination rate? Calculate backwards-how far back must you go to get fresh water?
Hmmmmm................wow! ..........Based on the amount of salt in the ocean and the rate of increase, the oceans can't be over -----years old!
Do it.

Yes He did. I think that if He has the ability and intelligence to accomplish a world-wide flood, He can separate fresh and salt water once it was done.
