Definitely rather go to a topless. I've been all over Europe and it's truly no big deal. I've been to both a topless and a nude beach. There are regular everyday people who are naked/topless there. I didn't prefer the nude one because there were a bunch of folks bending over and such and I really didn't like seeing hairy butts! I don't however mind seeing breasts of any kind so I guess that was the difference for me. I went because I was in another country and thought it would be a cool experience.... And, it was. I would go again any day. Very best wishes!

The last time I was in Tahiti (Bora Bora to be exact) there were topless women. It's French and they are laid back about such things. As for full nudity...I would say not. Enjoy.

Tahiti is french-run, so it is laid back.
Tahiti is a big honeymoon attraction for Americans, so you will see all nationalities there. Most of teh honeymooners never some out of their over-the-water bungalows, and if you have one of these, you can be completely naked all of the time!
