I feel cold even though I put myself under multiple blankets. My head hurts and I feel weak. I had a fever of 100.4. I vomited this morning but I have not vomited after that. Also yesterday i was taking some tylenol colds and I found out that they were expired. So I took a tylenol extra strength 1 hour earlier than I would have continued on tylenol cold. I am currently using the regular round tylenol pills.

The last time I saw symptoms like that, it was my husband who had caught a vicious case of flu. Get someone to take you to the ER: You'll probably find that the bottom has fallen out of your blood pressure and you need an IV to replace lost fluid and to get the medicine you actually need.

Does your insurance or local hospital have an ask-a-nurse hotline? I usually call one of those if I'm not sure whether to go to an ER. What you describe sounds like a virus. Your temperature is not that high. You feel cold and weak because you have a fever. It's hard to say if you need medical care without more details. Whatever you do, do not take more Tylenol than what it says on the container, too much Tylenol can cause liver problems.

Be very careful with tylenol. Definitely no more than 4- 600 mg in 24 hours----better if only 2 in 24 hours. Should get checked by regular General Practioner on Monday if symptoms dont get worse, in that case head for ER. Might have a long wait in ER on weekend because that is when they are very busy but you would be in the right place. Better health to you.
Oh yes, drink plenty of fluids.
