meaning, you have a choice only as long as you choose what they want, if you choose otherwise, then they just ram it down your throat
anyone starting to think our 'democracy' is a thinly veiled farce?

Maybe, but why only when the GOP is in the White House.
Last time this was an issue was when Reagan granted amnesty in 1987.

Yes, unfortunately I must agree with you. I wonder if the current illegals realize what they are getting themselves into. If there is an amnesty they will be given the same 'rights' that we have. So many of them think it's funny that our government does not listen to us, and don't understand that that's the same treatment they will get as citizens and legal residents. These silly people think the freebies and special privileges will go on forever. They have no idea how the government is going to demand repayment, but I have some thoughts on it. Has it never occurred to them that their 'love of babies' will feed our wars indefinitely? With or without a North American Union.

We haven't reached the dictator status yet. Hopefully the American people won't fall for any more sh*t from our money grubbing politicians and maybe more Americans will realize that voting is a priviledge and vote for America instead of grumbling about what is happening! That's our ace in the hole Americans, stand up and take ten minutes to vote or you have no say whatsoever!

Yes. It does. I agree with you. Anything that is outright against the will of the people like this is dictatorship. It's up to us to take our power back, and keep badgering our Senators and let them know that it is TREASON if they support this bill.

The president wants absolute control. We need to impeach him so that we can get someone sane in the White House, and NOT Dick Cheney.

Amnesty can be granted by a dictator if he sees fit. In the US, a bill would have to be passed by the Senate, passed by the House of Representatives, signed by the President, then pass any challenges in court. There is no dictator in that rather involved process.

It has been for a while now. The dictator's are corporations and special interest groups. They are even helping to write bills for those that came here illegally and broke our laws.

What are they teaching you brats in school these days?
You have a skull full of mush.
