You are a deist.

Sounds like you are a deist. Deists acknowledge that there is a God who created the universe, but that he set certain natural rules into place and does not interfere in those rules. Deists also believe that all "revealed" religions are false -- we can not know enough about God to communicate or have a personal relationship with him, but his presence can be experienced and appreciated through his creation (ie: the natural world).

I don't think that you could be labeled an agnostic, as most agnostics I know hold the belief that its just not possible to know if God exists and you state that you do believe in a higher power.

You may be a Theist, Deist , Pantheist, or Agnostic. Also, it is difficult, due to the limitations of the English language, to try and come up with a label to describe a person, based on their beliefs.
I am still not sure if I am an Agnostic, Deist or Pantheist. I guess you could say that I am agnostic about my agnosticism.

You sound more like a deist, those who believe for sure there is a god, but believe that god created the universe but currently does not get involved. You could also be a Unitarian Universalist. They beleive there is a god, and believe he takes an active role although the church itself does not have any further dogma.

It doesn't matter what you call yourself. Without Jesus Christ there is no eternal life for you so you are dead in your sins. This is truth from the Holy Bible and that Supreme Being that exists is Almighty God who is three in one or the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Why not ask God to pour out His Holy Spirit upon you so you can understand His Word. To those who are perishing His Word is foolishness. To us who believe it is the power of God.

You are a Deist. You believe in a god, but not one that has been defined by typical religion.

I think you are describing yourself as a deist. ( one who believes in a god but not specific) Maybe you are just on the beginning of a journey to finding who God is.. Search look through the different religions and what they say and why. Find the one for you.

Agnostic is the term used to describe a person with that set of beliefs.

I still haven't figured out what I am yet. At times I refer to myself as a Philotheosopher, or a Theophilosopher, but that's as close as I can come to naming myself which somewhat sounds like gibberish. When it boils down to it, I'm just me and that makes it hard sometimes to find where I belong.

I refuse to accept a label. I believe that it is the journey of life long learning that is more important than a destination of a specific religion.
