share your own stories about your daily struggles in the choice of whether or not to be gay.
Each day, while you are making that decision and struggling with those internal homosexual desires, how do you overcome them and choose to be straight?
Show everyone that every christian man has those same feelings thus proving that it's a choice, and you are daily (with the help of god) able to overcome your gay lust.
Amen.

Come on christian men.
You aren't helping here. These stories make it sound like it's not a choice. Share with us your own struggles with gay desires so that we can show that it is a choice.

Many don't get the sarcasm in your question.

Not many of those straight Christians responding. Talking about how they chose to be straight. In high school they really went to the football games just to see those nice tight @$$es, of the wide receiver, but then decided they really liked girls..

Just a little point here. But I never had to struggle to be straight. And a lot of other people never had to struggle to be straight. I didn't have to CHOOSE to be straight. I don't think gays choose to be gay. Why should they struggle? Just beaus a silly 2000 year all book says it wrong? Well that book said slavery was ok, and stoning people to death. We don't believe or do that now. Just another way to prosecute what you don't understand.

come on christian men we need to show it's a choice. You ever think maybe it isn't?
I find is amazing that we have yet to hear from 1 person who was gay and was cured. Not one person who could prove, no, Say, it's a choice and praise the lord I'm cured!

I'm happy to say that I was completely, 100%, totally balls-out anal gay till I got religion. Now I'm only a part time gay person. Thanks to Jesus, tons of unhealthy toxic shame and some tiny little penis shaped pills from my doctor (I admit, I'm a little obsessed with those), I can say that my mild curiosty about gayness has shrunk into once a week gay romp with other gay men. Yes, that's right. Through the power of self deprecating prayer (instead of loving and appreciating myself for who I am) and denying my gayness, I'm almost cured. One day I'll be in such a state of unhealthy denial that I can marry an unsuspecting ungay woman and live out my miserable li(f)e as a straight ungay religious person. Hmmm...what FUN!!! In all seriousness folks, Gay people are GAY! That's the way they were born. It's Gods plan to put gay people on the planet cuz someone has to love Barbara Striesand and remember the lyrics to old broadway show tunes. I have no qualms with gay people. I'm not gay but it sure would be a bit more boring in this world if there weren't any more gay people. I have no problem with gay people. I don't know why some people do.

It is the same as asking a left handyman to work with his right hand. It is not a choice, it is hormonal thing and if you don't want stay out of the closet then you really have to face inner struggle. The only thing I could see that could be wrong in being a gay is when he start acting like a playgirl easily seduced by attractive men landing from one relation to another like changing clothes. You can choose then to struggle to stay straight or go out of the closet but you have to act with optimum restrain.
Be good or even try to excel in everything you want to accomplish ( People with gay nature are oftentimes graced with exemplary ability to learn) and when you are there at the top of your career you may gain some confidence to have leadership and be able to overcome some weak emotions.
Keep yourself busy with leadership activities that will train your mind to control your emotions. You can be gay but you have to have a good amount of self respect.

I think this is horrible. You are talking about being gay like it's a disease or mental disorder. Jesus wouldn't judge anyone for being gay. Why are YOU? There is nothing wrong with it. That's like me telling you I should help you because you prefer the opposite sex. I HATE questions like this. You are born gay. Just like you are born heterosexual. Did you ever think maybe God put gay people on the earth so we wouldn't over populate the earth? By the way, I'm ALL for gay adoption too! I was raised a Catholic and am happily married and not gay. This is one of the reasons I stopped going to church. TOO MUCH judging of others for being themselves!

Ted Haggart cured his gayness by hugging lots of men and having them sit on his lap.

By that logic, I'm only a few lapdances away from curing my "straightness." Oh wait, the christians are trying to shut down all the strip clubs in this state, Guess I'm stuck.

Personally, i am not gay, but I know people who are gay and try to rid the feelings or emotions they get when meeting the same gender, they have gone to my church to rid them but the feelings have not gone away, I believe that you cannot rid these feelings/lust and i believe it is just natural. I believe god loves all his children and homosexuals should not hide who they are or want to be. They need to be who they are, Homosexuals are just like us. You are acting like it's disgusting it's not and there is no dumb pill that will "cure" it. That's like saying you can change white people into full Mexican it just doesn't happen! This question is retarded b/c JESUS LOVES EVERONE!!! their is nothing in the bible against gays!!!!

You know, of course, that no one chooses to be gay. Though I'm sure that many Christians who are gay struggle every day to pretend to be straight out of shame. How sad.

I am delightfully happy that I am an atheist so that I never had those feelings to be gay like "every christian man". It appears that if we kill all the christian men that will take care of the gay situation.

You obviously have no concept of homosexuality nor do you have any concept of what the Bible *actually* says about homosexuality.

REMINDER: The Bible was not written in English. There is no human being alive today that can read the Bible in its original language and fully understand it.
