Wantagh Park is always good. Also the Oak Beach pier on Ocean Parkway in the town of Babylon have plenty of blue claw crabs. Amityville dock on South Bayview Avenue very productive. Last year was the best blue claw crabbing season in the last 20 years. This year, the blue claws have arrived early and there are plenty of them in the south shore backbays.
